Greenman Energy enters the energy business and supplies supermarkets and chargingstations with PV power
Greenman Energy beliefert mithilfe der Lumenaza SaaS-Plattform ab sofort deutsche Supermärkte und Ladestationen mit PV-Strom.
The green energy provider Octopus Energy will now offer its customers aggregation for electricity generated from their rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems. This service is based on the software platform of Lumenaza GmbH.
Octopus Energy is the first energy supplier in Germany to provide manufacturer-independent small-scale aggregation. Customers can choose between market premium aggregation and other direct aggregation options. Households with battery storage systems can fully optimize the potential of their PV system and home storage, reducing their electricity costs while earning additional income through aggregation.
Lumenaza GmbH provides the platform and manages the virtual power plant, market communication, contract management, and billing. All processes and customer communication are carried out under the Octopus Energy brand.
Andrew Mack, CEO of Octopus Energy Germany, comments:
"With dynamic feed-in tariffs, we are taking the next step toward becoming a one-stop shop for climate-friendly energy. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to maximize the potential of their green technologies. That’s why we offer a range of solutions, from dynamic consumption and feed-in tariffs to smart meter installations and intelligent networking."
Christian Chudoba, Founder and CEO of Lumenaza, adds:
"We are especially excited to support Octopus Energy on their ambitious aggregation journey with our SaaS platform, contributing to their impressive growth."
Founded in 2016, Octopus Energy was established with the vision of accelerating the global energy transition through technology and making a significant green impact as quickly as possible.
